    Database fundamental book is what we read in Graduation but we never cared and never understood the importance of this book. Lets read it again now!

    I think its always a good idea to create a report. This kind of report must be delivered to DBA’s Distribution list for weekly/monthly review.

    Hi Shivam,

    Can you please let me know what exactly you are looking for other than below?

    mdf, ndf, ldf are the file extensions used for data and log files of a database. SQL Server holds exclusive lock on these files.
